Course Overview

Personal training is the provision of fitness services to clients either in a small group setting or one-on-one. The services that are provided will be based on the client’s fitness goals and can include such things as improving muscular endurance, strengthening cardiovascular capabilities, and increasing overall physical strength.

A personal trainer may also create or revise specific workout routines for their clients in order to further assist them in achieving their fitness goals. In some cases, personal trainers will work with other health care professionals to help clients with specialised needs, such as those wanting additional nutritional information or needing help with the management of a chronic disease.

This course will examine everything you need to know to be a world class personal trainer and give you all the knowledge, tools, and techniques to make a positive impact on the clients that you work with.
